Langholtskirkja
Reykjavik, Iceland

Noack Organ Company, 1999

For ten years Langholtskirkja maintained an outstanding music program with the help of a little four-stop Positive organ. The splendid acoustics and a particularly strong emphasis on the music of J. S. Bach called for an organ with a strong Baroque core. The classical case with carvings and moldings, executed in light ash, provides a nice foil to the stark, modern architecture.
