Swampscott, Massachusetts
First Congregational Church

Noack Organ Company, 2004

In recent years we built organs mostly for faraway places, so we were particularly pleased to build the new organ for the First Church in Swampscott, within easy driving distance from our Georgetown workshop. We also liked the idea of having a new example of our work within the greater Boston area, one that is known for its wealth of outstanding organs.  To us this is the perfect organ for this Congregational church. It is large enough for all sorts of service music and appropriate recitals but it is in no way excessive. Visually it adds a festive element within the discipline of its architectural setting.
